Acca posted examiner’s answers for June exam. How did you like it? Let’s discuss.

As for me, I think I’ve spend too much time for Q1. Examiner’s answer is much shorter (surprisingly). And the volume of answer for Q1 (2 pages) appeared to be not much longer than for optional questions (Q3- 1,5 pages).
Q2 seems like requiring no calculations at the exam…

Nothing looks familiar in this model answers and I hope the markers used their judgement to mark my papers. Still hoping for the best.

To be honest, the answer model is not completly out of place. I love the Q3 model answer, it’s expected. The model for me is an opener, for those sitting the exam next sitting it is important to remain concise & succint. Obviously, Alex, the examiner has got a style different from the previous examiner. Q2 was vague that I didnt even know how to approach it, all I did was to make assumptions very close to the model answers. Thankfully.

I agree that the marker should use their proffesional judgement bearing in mind that there could be different version answer to the questions. I really didnt do too well but then I hope for a pass.

    All the best!
