Hi Sir! Could you, please, advise me. I’ve take P5 three times already and the results were 1st time 41%, 2nd time 34%, 3rd time 49%. I almost give up and thinking of taking P6 (UK). I’ve passed P3 at first time. P7 first time 49% and passed the second time. Now I think may be I’m good at calculation and I should try P6? At this June 2013 sitting I knew the whole syllabus on P5 and knew how to tackle the questions, but still 49%. What should I do? should I stay and give it a try on P5 or really it is not gonna work for me and try P6? Will very much appreciate your response.

I’d give it one more go – you were so close last time.

I don’t know where you are based, but if you can, attend a question practice course to learn how to maximise you marks and to receive feedback. I don’t know if you have a BPP or Kaplan (say) revision kit, but they often guide you through questions and give hints.

    Thank you very much, Sir!
I’ve been using Kaplan. I’m based in Kyrgyzstan. we don’t have question practice courses. so the only way to get prepared is to tackle exam kits many times, right? I will give one more go to P5. Thank you again!!!

I quite agree that another trial may just be what u need, cos its obvious that there has been some improvements, though not a pass, but with hard work and knowledge accumulated from previous paper study, success is much closer than u think. All d best.

Yeah, to pass P5 this Dec 2013 sitting is vital for me as my promotion depends on it. Well, now with your advices I’m quite determined to take P5 rather than to switch to another optional paper. Fingers crossed already!!! Thank you!!!

I am also taking p5 this December, ma first attempt though, the study text and pass question looks quite bulky too, but am gonna give it all I got, also past questions wud be of help. I think it more about understanding the principles and applying them to real life situations. I believe we would all smile at the end.
