Is it too late to start studying for the June 2017 sitting. What do you think guys is the best approach at tackling this paper?
Thanks for your help.
March 21, 2017 at 6:54 pm #378863It will probably depend on when last you did the F5 paper, whether you still remember everything from that paper. It will also depend on your workload and pressure at work, if you are not a full time student. But generally, I would aim for the September sitting if I were you. You don’t want your confidence to be affected because this paper is not the easiest ACCA paper!

March 25, 2017 at 8:26 pm #379270Of course it’s not too late. There is still over 10 weeks at this point.
Knuckle down and study as much as you can and be determined and dedicated and a pass in June is achievable. You’ve got to be determined, focused and persistent, but that’s the case no matter how early or late you start studying anyway!

Hi everyone! Does anybody understand the answer for December 2016 sample Q2 w3 – calculation of the share of fuel tax increase? I don’t understand why 3% was devided by 160? What is 160? Thank you for answer

April 5, 2017 at 7:08 pm #380216In my opinion, the workings follows the following logic:
Real cost of fuel: 100%
Rate of tax levied: 60%
Total distribution cost: 160% which represents $600
Therefore, increase represents 3% over 160%
70% of cost represents cost of fuel
Ans: 3/160*70%=1.31%i hope this clarifies things…anyone with a different approach???
April 12, 2017 at 7:48 am #380927I am sitting P5 in June, and haven’t started studying for it yet, it is doable thanks to open tuition, I always have a plan. First lectures, and then past exam papers and that’s about it.
