Congrats to @alexkraev for getting 81 marks, that’s really high! (mine was 75 from June 2012)And congrats to everyone who passed, and to those who did not, never give up. Alex Watt seems to have shown more mercy in his exams, so in due course, so take this opportunity to emerge stronger than ever next time.
Thank you, angryhamtaro !!! I read suggestions you had posted here before Dec. 12 P5 exams. It helped.

failed 49% is it worthwhile getting an administrative review?Sorry 49% got my attention….Honest answer you’re wasting your time and money…true story i got 49% on my final exam for membership i.e p5, then 48% then 28% (and i thought i had passed it! I still think to this day that was a mistake somehow), repeated it again, studied, wasn’t happy, had looked into doing p6 next time but i got 57%…..its a strange world with the very final exam, you make your own luck, you’ll get it next time, just believe!

February 8, 2013 at 11:09 pm #116500@alexkraev, you are very welcome! Feel free to contribute back to OpenTuition forum, share your wisdom and help more of our friends here to pass P5, or maybe helping them achieve prizewinner status in the next exam sitting. Did you achieve your local prizewinner status in your country?
@oltago, I know you must be joking, but f you are feeling mighty generous to make ACCA richer, you can donate your administrative review fee and they’d be laughing away. Admin review are for those who had marginal fail, like 1 or 2 marks to pass. Surely you knew about this?
February 9, 2013 at 2:47 am #1165231 paper away becoming affiliate. Just because of you, P5! the lowest marks in all my attempts papers, 33%! π
February 9, 2013 at 2:49 am #1165241 paper away becoming affiliate. Just because of you, P5! I study so hard until suffering insomnia and hormone imbalance but still get 33%. This is the lowest marks in all my attempts! π
February 9, 2013 at 5:26 am #116548I got 37% fail…What is wrong? How can I do better? Why every time I try harder, but result gets lower? I trust Opentuitions. It is the best lessons that I had ever attended. I think there is something wrong in my answers though I think I had covered majority part of syllabus.
I will come to a stronger person after this paper. June 2013, I am all in.

@angryhamtaro, I do not have a clue how I can know whether my result is good enough to be on the top in my country. I sat exam in my native country Russia.
I always ready to share my opinion how to pass P5. If you think it is sensible I can write some general thoughts about that and post here. Just let me know.
February 9, 2013 at 7:52 am #116483a very tough and challenging paper, very open ended and really not my favourite of the option papers.
I just don’t feel like i have learnt anything new that really benefits me. Anyway we try again and see how it goes.
Giving up is never an option

February 9, 2013 at 9:28 am #116642I have finally managed to pass with 51 only but at this point would have been happy with 50. I am now an Affiliate.
My message to those who failed this paper several times, please do NOT give up or change the subject. I stuck by it despite many failures on this paper only; I even thought about giving it all up and used to wake up with horrible failure feeling. Now I can look back and advice even if itβs only been a day since the achievement.
I think I only passed this paper because I did not let this final impossible (for me) paper take over my life, I took it easy this time after failing it a few times. I even went out a week before the exam. I am not saying the paper is easy but please donβt forget to enjoy.
All the best
February 9, 2013 at 9:31 am #116644Forgot, my BIG thanks to OPENTUITION.
February 9, 2013 at 10:38 am #116677Passed – 66%
