    HI SIR
I have question in paper p5 at DEC 2010. For the question 1, the part (d). I know the content behind the MIS AND EIS. BUT I do not have any ideas when I first look this question. for this part, what the examiner wants us to answer, how to arrange our answers?
for rest of part in this question, I know how to bring up ideas and what the examiner expects us to answer. so I have some ideas for the rest of the part.
    thanks!

Fo you have chosen PIs then you must think that these are measures of important areas of performance. Whatever those areas are need to be supported, here, by the company’s web-site, MIS and EIS.

So, if you chose audience ratings of films as an important PI, then you have to find a way of collecting that information and perhaps feedback via a web-site or sending out emails to registered customers asking for feedback and ratings would be the way to go.

IT is not usually an end in itself for businesses: it allows greater efficiency, flexibility and greater analysis and use customer and product information.

Yes for the information system, the overall purpose is collect information which is correct and reliable for decision making. But what the didference between EIS and MIS. What the important point for each of the system when I arrange my answers.
    Thanks so much.
