Dear sir,
I am planning to take the P5 exam first out of P level papers.will you recommend me to attempt it without sitting for the P3 exam as the syllabus suggests to finish P3 first.
Thanks in advance.
August 28, 2017 at 7:23 am #403853I would strongly recommend that you attempt P3 first as it provides an understanding (albeit from a strategic perspective) of many of the tools used in P5.
August 28, 2017 at 7:37 am #403859Dear sir,
The thing is I’m planning to attempt the strategic leader paper instead of p1 and p3.what subjects do you recommend to attempt in the optional papers without doing p1 and p3
Thanks
August 28, 2017 at 9:52 am #403884It depends what you are interested in. For example, some people love tax, others hate it. If you want to be an auditor, Advanced Audit and Assurance should be done.

Hello Sir,
Good morning. I am in a dilema on whether to take P5 since we have just 5-6 weeks left. I did not attempt F5 but did P3 which was a long time ago. I did P6 in the September session but failed. I love tax but don’t have any experience and my career seems to be moving towards the other direction of being a management accountant. I currently work as a management accountant.
My question is; do you think i could pass P5 in the December session with me just relying on your notes and revision? My problem is that the Dec session is my last session since i took a break from ACCA for over 6 years. Otherwise i will be affected by the 7 year rule and all my professional papers cancelled.
Your advice will be much appreciated.
Thanks
