Dear Sir,
I spotted my question 1(a) acca p5 June14 exam answered wrongly …the question asking evaluate the performance report indeed …but my answer is towards evaluate the performance of the whole group of the business…. full marks is 15 marks…Do you think..in this scenario…I will totally lost 15 marks???I feel very sad…even though haven’t get my result in Aug14 soon….;-(

Same happened to me too. I have been very careful in understanding the requirement yet I have wrong intepretation. “No evaluation of Canton’s performance” I took it as only to evaluate the performance of Cafes & Juicey, without Canton’s as a whole. While the question to evaluate the report I thought to make it more wordly through analysing from the less useful all-figures-report.
Indeed, the style of asking is different from what I practised in my past years. In my memory, such requirement might be translated into: ….strength… and ways considered to further enhance the usefulness of a report to the users.
The sadness is instead 0 marks I can have some marks scored should I understand the question clearly.
