Hello, I was wondering if the study material has changed much since 2019? What topics were affected? I took lessons in 2019 and I’m going to sit this exam this year. Appreciate your advice

I do not keep old syllabuses and so I am not certain. I do not think anything has changed since 2019 – certainly nothing haschanged from last year, with the exception of the addition of a section stressing the importance of being able to deal with the CBE exams, given that all the exams are now CBE.

Best is to compare the current syllabus on the ACCA website with the syllabus that is presumably printed in your study material.

Obviously our free lectures (and notes) are up-to-date for the current syllabus.

There were a couple of minor amendments to syllabus in 2019-20 but no deletions nor additions. These involved introduction of initial coin offering as source of finance and confirmation that interest rate collars are examinable. Hope this helps.

That’s in addition to points made by John Moffat that were highlighted in later years.

Thanks a million John Moffat and mrjonbain.
I’ll make sure I cover “introduction of initial coin offering as source of finance and confirmation that interest rate collars” before the exam.
Let me know if you remember any more changes that happened in P4.
    Cheers
