was looking to give p4 along with p7 in december, just wanted to know the length of p4 syllabus as ive heard its as short as f9 was and shortest amongst optionals
September 11, 2016 at 12:22 pm #339799If you look on the ACCA website, you will see that the length of the P4 syllabus just about the same as the other optional papers!
It is a hard exam (but so are all the P level papers). How easy or difficult you will find it depends a lot on whether you prefer calculations or writing (P4 has both, but is more calculations), and how easy or difficult you found Paper F9.
September 11, 2016 at 12:36 pm #339804right ok, i found f9 to be fun and much better than other papers, do u think its a viable option to go for p7 and p4 in december ,
September 11, 2016 at 12:59 pm #339806and how much of it is similar to f9 and how much is brand new ?
September 11, 2016 at 6:59 pm #339955There is no reason why it should not be viable to take P4 and P7 in December.
There is not so much brand new things in P4, but it is to a higher level so there is a lot more to interpret in the questions than there is in F9. Best is to have a quick look at one or two of the recent exams, on the ACCA website.
