    Hello John

    hope you are well

can p4 be done in two months?

i have taken one month off from work from july.

also can you please advise me about the structure of p4?

how much of the paper is technical and computational and how much is theory to write in exam.

i have background knowledge i think because i studied courses on business valuation, corporate finance and private equity in Msc finance which i completed with merit from a uk university

    thanks

You should certainly be able to pass it in September if you have a month off work and university knowledge.

The exam has 1 compulsory 50 mark question plus a choice of 2 from 3 questions of 25 marks each.

The spell between writing and calculations somewhat depends on which optional questions you choose, but it is roughly 60% computational and 40% discussion.

It is a very technical exam, and although our free lectures (together with the lecture notes) cover enough to be able to pass the exam, it is vital to practice as many past exam questions as possible. There are recent exams available on the ACCA website, but best is to buy a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers because they have many more past questions.

Any problems then ask in this forum.
