The reason that P5 has had a lower pass rate in the last few exams is that there is a new examiner and he changed the style a bit – there is much more writing than there used to be. P5 needs the same techniques as F5, but much more writing about management (and a lot of it is similar to P3).
P4 is more arithmetic but is very much like a harder version of F9.
Best is to look at the last few real exams (from the ACCA website) and see which looks easier / more interesting for you – obviously everyone is different 🙂

    Hi
Can someone please advise if it is a good idea to do F9 Financial Mgt and P4 Advanced FM together? By doing this combination make it easier to study P4 or harder?
    Thanks

You cannot do this unless you have already passed some of the P1, P2 and P3 papers.
You have to have passed (or be attempting) the compulsory P papers before you can take the choice papers.
(Otherwise it would be quite a good idea 🙂 )
