Hi,
I have 3 papers left to take, P1, P3 and either P4 or P5.
Just want some advice which of the options I should take with the other 2 papers. Also, will self study be realistic for these papers? I just changed my job and am on probation so I don’t get study support. With Kaplan charging £685 for a part time course, I simply can’t afford it!
Thanks for your reposnses.

Definitely P5. It complements well with P3 to start with and P4 is just a pain… – although I found it to be the most interesting paper so far but the time it takes to prepare for the exam would be enough for studying p3 and p5 combined.

and to add on self study – It is totally realistic as long as you know which parts of the syllabus you should concentrate on. P1 text book might look daunting in that respect but in reality it is the easiest paper. P3 and P5 share a lot between them so you will save a lot of time
September 13, 2011 at 8:04 am #87629Yes! go for P5.. I did P4 but suggesting you P5, because P5 is much easier than P4 🙂

P5 is better choice, P4 is real difficult one when doing self study
October 6, 2011 at 8:40 am #87631I suggest p5. I have tried p4 3 times and now run to p5. This will be my first attemp. i optimistic i wll pss it first time.

November 11, 2011 at 9:24 am #87633Thank you everybody for your helpful responses. I’m taking P3 & P5 because there does seem to be a lot of crossover which is great.
Agree with BVP123 that none of the option papers are easy but fingers crossed and good luck to evereyone.November 11, 2011 at 9:53 am #87634As i’m doing self study, I’m finding it difficult to know which areas to concentrate on.
Can anybody provide any advice? I’m just trying to cover as much f the Kaplan textbook as possible and practice questions but I feel I need to focus on certain areas but don’t know what those areas are.
