We may start with Investment Appraisal which included:

-Relavant Cashflows – CF arises due to project (Normally excluded apportionment/allocation costs/sunk cost / depreciation and so on)
– How to handling inflation
(Nominal cashflow – need to adjust inflation (fisher effect)
– Real CF – Ignore inflation (i.e based on current price)Adjusted Present Value
– Based case NPV + financing effects (assume K d)
(Tax saved on interest payment *debt capacity
, Net benefits of subsidized loans , any other costs/benefit)Foreign Direct Investment

May be we can start with read notes and do past year paper 1) Mercury Training (June 2008),
2) Jonas Chemical System (Pilot paper Q3),3) Neptune (June 2008), 4) Digunder (Dec 2007)so on and so forth. If come across with doubious point and something don’t understand then ask.Or else u all have any good suggestion?????????
I recommend to start next Friday 20 Aug 2010, so can any one set a time table for studying
For example
First week from 20 Aug to 27 Aug will start studying (Net present value
-Relevant Cash flows – …etcAs mentioned above
Wait for the time table – see you next Thursday to start together hand on handI m also in…….
Note: Transfer price is set on arm’s length basis(Market prices) if exam ques states that co. is willing to charge higher transfer price than market price than u must state that co. policy is not suitable as most government`s allow transfer price to be set on arms length basis due to tax purposes………..

Great minds, great ideas. Im interested in this group. I will suggest however that we do a quick revision on WACC and basic investment appraisal techniques like Pay back period, NPV, Sensitivity analysis etc before delving in P4.
