Dear Sir,
It will be my first sitting for Paper P4 in this June 2012 exams. Could you please tell me the general key areas of paper P4 where i have to concentrate more, as my college doesn’t teach this paper any more.
Also can you tell me any other website where i can get free P4 resources and notes? Please advice and help. ThanksThe key areas are:
Investment appraisal
Cost of capital (especially capital asset pricing model)
Foreign exchange risk management
Interest rate risk management
Business valuationThese topics usually cover most of the compulsory section and probably one of the choice questions.
Another of the choice questions is written and usually is more general financial knowledge (and therefore hard to learn).
The other choice question is usually one of the other syllabus topics.I don’t know of any other source of free material – we are the only one.
