Hi mike
As every paper I will start i need your advise
I will go in June for p3 and I need give me technique for studying
I will do the same p1 just read notes and go for revision kit to practice and this was very beneficial in p1. Or i need more in p3 becouse it more difficult than p1 ?
Please advise meJanuary 13, 2015 at 9:25 am #222455Mike does not deal with P3, I do.
P3 has many models of frameworks whaci are used to answer the questions. So you need to read the notes to learn those. However, P3 does not ask you to explain models, it asks you to appply models to scenarios, therefore it is very important indeed to attempt questions from the revision kit to see how the models are applied.
We have a downloadable list that sets out all the topics in all the P3 exams so you can use that to choose suitable questions relevant to what you have just studied in the notes.
Note also that F5 material and deom F9 (NPV/IRR calculations) reappear in P3. Usually tou do not ahve to carry out complex F5 calculations but you have to be able to interpret results and use those in answering you questions. Therefore some F5 revision is needed. There is also an article on our P3 section covering some of that material.
