    Hi guys, so i study for my exams by going through an approved text and revision kit and also watching open tuition lectures (when i have the time)

    So i want to start studying for P3 for the September sitting and can only lay my hands on a bpp study text valid for exams up to august 2016.

    As there have been no syllabus changes since then, would it be okay to use the above text for studies?
    i am somewhat curious about what actually changes in the publishing even when the syllabus hasn’t changed.

    Any help would be appreciated

    If I order P3 study text till June 2017 will it be good to read from it for December 2017 session or the new book will be carrying new stuff? I need Kaplan book which is not yet available with the dealer I purchased last from.

    I think it should be fine, as the syllabus hasn’t changed and I don’t think it will change until the whole big change next year which is combining P1 & P3. Worth asking the tutor though to double check.

    @eagledave
    the accaglobal site says “the syllabus change takes from Sept 2017-Sept 2018 session” so wont that make the current book redundant?

    I have the ACCA guide to Business Analysis (P3) September 2017 to June 2018 and under summary of changes it states that there are no syllabus changes effective from September 2017 and the next update will be August 2018
