Dear tutor: can clarify how the marks allocated for P3? For example: Evaluate question total 10 marks. Need to give 5 points or 10 points? For those “list” questions how many marks per point? A bit confusing.
June 1, 2015 at 10:11 am #251267If you look at ACCA’s answers on their site, they include marking guides. Generally for questions like ‘identify and explain’ or ‘evaluate’ there are 1.5 marks per point you make eg 0.5 for identify and 1 for explain.
List is likely to be 1 mark per point you make.
July 19, 2016 at 10:52 am #327581Sorry for interrupting into the conversation. I have a quick question that 1 point means one single paragraph or more than 1 ?
July 19, 2016 at 10:55 am #327582for example 1sr paragraph explain the problem and then 2nd para with be explained the effect or advantages of risk? what is your suggestion?
July 19, 2016 at 7:30 pm #327789I would deal with a single issue in a single paragraph: identification, description, effect, implications.
