Hi Mike.
I have read about the syllabus change for the P3 exam 2013 but slightly confused. Could you please tell me if it’s going to be any harder and what are the differences between the 2012 and 2013 syllabus. Is it more financial based?

The only change to the P3 syllabus is that the following is now included:

Evaluate the role and limitations of cost accounting in strategy development and
implementation, specifically relating to:

i) Direct and indirect costs in multi-product contexts
ii) Overhead apportionment in full costing
iii) Activity based costing in planning and control

This is not Mike as Mike doe not cover P3.

The revision Kit will be OK but download the 2011 and 2012 exams from the ACCA’s website to bring you up to date.

But the changes mentioned by you didn’t shown on the syllabus… confused….
