Good day,
I wrote P3 a couple of times and failed. The last couple of times I wrote I have been getting in the mid 40’s. I thought I did enough to pass it the last but I got 44. I have read the notes over and over, what advice you can you give to get over the hump.March 29, 2012 at 9:57 am #92617I assume that you know the theories/models/frameworks well. Therefore I think you need to concentrate on properly addressing the questions. Note that questions rarely ask you to describe a theory. Instead, you are almost always asked to apply a theory or theories to the scenarios given in the question. This means more than just repeating question information. For example, if a business was threatened by potential entrants to its market, don’t just repeat that information, but refer (note do not describe) to the Porter’s 5 Forces and say that the business should see if it can find any barriers to entry that might fend off that threat.Similarly, if the business saw economic problems ahead (eg interest rate rises) explain what that might mean to the business and what it should do about it. Higher interest rates will be particularly troublesome if the business has high borrowing. Certainly no more should then be borrowed and the business might try to find ways of reducing that threat.
