Hi, this might sound like a crazy question to some.
I am sitting P3 for the first time in December – I usually do pretty ok with theory papers, but for some reason this one just isnt sticking in my head and I feel like December is going to be a nightmare!
I havent changed my study method – I am using the same as I have for all the other theory papers.
The only thing I dont do with theory papers is “Exam Practice” as such. I dont really understand how you can do this with a theory paper. What I mean is, if its a practical paper, everyone is mainly working to the same standard answer i.e. a set of figures or calculations, but with theory, everyone’s answers are going to be different to the standard, so I find it hard to do practice questions with theory papers.
What I usually do is read through or summarise a past question and try to extract the key points from it, or highlight key paragraphs – but it just doesnt seem to be working this time. I seem to be highlighting the whole question as opposed to what I think are key points!
Can anyone offer any tips or advice?? Would be greatly appreciated.
Perhaps P3 is just my bogey subject!
Thanks and best of luck
