I left out 20 marks in question 1! And 14 marks in question 3! Very upset, 🙁
June 8, 2015 at 2:09 pm #255101No. I struggled too.. The girl in front of me said she completed just the first question. !!
June 8, 2015 at 2:10 pm #255102This is too unfair !! I The paper was easy. But so time pressured !!

Agreed totally!
June 8, 2015 at 2:34 pm #255104I was really pushed for time and had to move on without completing a full question.
Not feeling hopeful at all – repeat!!!
June 8, 2015 at 3:06 pm #255117Not enough time at all – in none of the practise papers have there been 3 pages of writing on a question – without any financial extracts – Q1 was way too bulky and so much you could write about just not enough time!
June 8, 2015 at 3:06 pm #255118Paper was challenging not very tough but quite unexpected and of course the time pressure

I thought it was a fairly easy paper but the time pressure was horrible.
I managed to answer the whole paper, but at the cost of not going into enough detail and probably being far too vague.June 8, 2015 at 4:15 pm #255142indeed the paper was easy but it was very bulky…..
time pressure….and I did the best of myself…..
Q1 was indeed very lengthy…………OH GOD HELP ME……hope to get 50 mks…

Anyone remember what is question 2 about?
June 8, 2015 at 4:47 pm #255165Generic straegies and outsourcing
June 8, 2015 at 5:28 pm #255200Q1 was very demanding. I thought the first part of it was quite straightforward, but there was a lot going on in it and it took up more time than it should’ve.
Wasn’t entirely sure what the second part for 20 marks wanted from me, so I’ve lost a lot of marks there.
Q2 turned out to be harder than I thought and wish I’d gone for Q4 now.
Q3 was very straightforward and nothing at all was difficult about it… or so it seemed anyway, which kinda makes me wonder if I’ve completely missed something.
Still, it’s done now and can’t be undone. 100 marks available, I’ll be happy with just 50 of them.
June 8, 2015 at 6:01 pm #255227Was awful, I went to pieces after reading 1 (b) I ended up in tears, I lost my nerve for the rest of the paper then. What the hell was it about. Not straight forward at all, and very very annoyed!!!!
June 8, 2015 at 6:16 pm #2552341 b was a type of investment appraisal… hope it was not…
June 8, 2015 at 6:29 pm #255244This is the first time I rate any exam as disaster. Even though I had left some of them with worse feeling than today. I understand that examiner wants to examine also our time management and working under pressure but I think there are some limits to this.
I didn’t see this paper as ‘balanced’ although BPP hinted that examiner likes to test very narrow part of syllabus for great amount of marks.
After today I wonder if this is still a business analysis paper or rather F5 with longer and more complex scenarios.
This was my 2nd attempt and I really don’t see any reason to pass.
June 10, 2015 at 6:30 am #255865Agree to all as paper was too time consuming and i also did not completed all parts , specially Section A part b.
June 10, 2015 at 8:35 am #255903BTW guys, ACCA has sent an email with a survey regarding the exam. Please let them know the issue of time and the difficulty in finishing the exam. (they have asked in detail regarding this)
June 11, 2015 at 2:33 pm #256384I agree!! I thought the first question was wayyy too long with the narrative that I took ages on just part 1a and missed out part b….
and this meant for the next two questions I had to skim read the scenarios and guess what it was all about otherwise I wouldn’t have had time to write anything down ..
they tell us we need to apply our knowledge to the scenario but when you’re time pressured this all goes out the window and you end up just writing down what knowledge management means like I did for one of the questions but didn’t link it to the scenario 🙁
