i would like to know how many days before does the questions or set of
questions are prepared for p3 exams?(relevence for looking into real world
financial situations timeline).
what is supply chain-is it based on own individual value makingnetwork or the entire value network linking firms across the vertical
chain engaging in activities from raw material extraction to providing
delivery to final user?
May 12, 2013 at 8:12 pm #125281The examiner has already prepared the next 4 exams.
As for supply chain, see the recent article in student accountant on value chains etc.
May 14, 2013 at 2:47 pm #125447thans so does that mean little need to read about any relevent financial matter happenning in the current time (no direct bearing on the questions of p3 as it has been prepared allready) and by current timeframe i mean 2month
May 14, 2013 at 7:16 pm #125482If the next 4 exams are prepared, this implies that this June’s exam was probably written 1 – 2 years ago if teh examiner likes to keep 4 in his queue.
May 17, 2013 at 1:39 pm #125803Would the examiner be likely to use real life scenarios from 1-2 years ago as a framework for a question?
If so, can anyone remember what the big stories were back then?
Thanks
May 17, 2013 at 3:46 pm #125811Don’t waste your time trying to scenario spot. Deal with whatever comes up and the evidence presented in the question.
May 17, 2013 at 4:00 pm #125816Okay thanks.
June 3, 2013 at 11:51 pm #128753Hi, I am posting this here as for some reason I couldn’t reply to the other one( kept logging me out, must be my pc browser).
You replied with the below answer on the ‘important questions topic’.
I was wondering why you mentioned 2010 and 2011 but not 2012. Would this be because if it is out in 2012 it is less likely (although not impossible) that it would come out again so soon?
Thanks

You could look at our tips then our list past exam analysis page (by topic and by exam).Failing that, if you look at the 4 exams from 2010 and 2011 you will get pretty good coverage.
June 4, 2013 at 8:14 am #128804Yes. That’s the only reason. If the examiner tries to get round the syllabus, 2012 topics have bee asked recently. That does not mean that the same area could not come up consecutively!
