    Which did you find harder?
I am considering self study for P3 in March starting after the festive period.
Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

    P1 –
relatively narrow syllabus. Perceived by students as the easiest to pass from P papers so it is a good paper to start with professional exam structre (50 + 25 +25). Exam has a lot of reading and is time pressured but not as much as P3.

You may find it boring to study but it’s not a rule.
TIP: Do not underestimate the exam.

    P3
Big syllabus and the examiner likes to test very specific bits of it.
Very time pressured (and I mean it). Small calculations can be included.

It is a very interesting subject to study. Time management is key to pass the paper and of course application to scenario. There are a lot of models things good to know but you won’t pass the exam just by repetition of knowledge.

TIP: You don’t need perfect knowledge about each and every part of syllabus, (although there are some crucial areas and models). Just ensure you ‘know something’ about everything. Time management and application.

I was very good with this subject in theory but failed (47) 1st attempt due to time management. I just focused on that aspect and passed 2nd attempt with 57 marks.
