in regards to the notes and chat history that u posted, i’d like to find out how can profit based pay be one of the solutions for agency problems, when they create them in the first place. E.g. if directors are compensated based on the profit made, then they’d seek to reduce costs such as R&D and training to increase the net profit as mentioned in the notes. therefore i dont see how it wud help at all.
