    May I know what this section address for study guide A 1(b)?

    Is it just explaination for the separation of ownership and control?

    Austin – Yes it relates to the separation of ownership and control which was first seen with the establishment of joint stock companies, and the (agency) problems that this arrangement causes (although A2 covers agency theory).

    Mike – the ACCA publish a study guide every year detailing the examinable syllabus, this is what Austin’s question was referring to.
