Could someone please tell me if F9 and P1 is alot to study leading to xmas? and whether they are a good combination after completing F7 & F8?
Many Thanks
JemmaAugust 14, 2013 at 8:02 pm #138082I am also thinking of doing both of them at the end of this year. I know that F9 is quite heavy with all the calculations and formulas, but I’m not sure on what P1’s syllabus is like.
August 14, 2013 at 11:36 pm #138100The more I have looked at it I think I am sticking to f9 only this Dec get the fs all done and work on p1 and 2 next June as I believe p2 has got calculations as well!! Don’t want any retakes … let me know what you choose ?!

I think P1 an F9 is to much since both are heavy in theory and it should be done one at a time
September 3, 2013 at 8:01 pm #139747Well, I personally think P1 is just F4 and F8 and some F7 revision. I will be doing F9 and P1 in Dec.
I have watched nearly all the open tuition P1 lectures within a week and will do again twice and start with revision kit. It’s only Sept. I think there is still plenty of time if you set you mind to it. It depends on your schedule.
I have 2 kids and 1 on the way, a full time job and a husband. Some how I manage to find time to study – mostly from 4am till it’s time to go to work.
September 4, 2013 at 1:25 pm #139819if you just did f7 i could do p2 to get it out the way whilst your still fresh on consolidations
October 17, 2013 at 1:21 pm #142988I am doing F7,9 and P1, i wouldnt say F9 is too much theory.
October 18, 2013 at 1:01 pm #143063I took F9 & P1 together having previously done F7 & F8 and yes it was hard work (as they all are) but not unachieveable as long as you are willing to put the work in. I work full time as well as having my own house to look after and I was able to pass F9 & P1 together.
Good luck with your studies 🙂
