May 4, 2016 at 8:37 am #313643That’s poor advice from Soooraj
Here’s an extract from the ACCA page: https://www.accaglobal.com/ng/en/student/exam-entry-and-administration/enter-an-exam/exam-progression-rules.html
“If your exam allows you to enter for exams across modules, please remember that you must enter for outstanding exams in your current module if you wish to enter to sit papers in the next module. For example should you have passed exams F1-F8, if you wish to sit P1 you must also enter for F9 at the same exam booking.”

You can’t attempt P2 if you have passed F7 but not the other F paper. when i took mine, I did F7,8,9 &P1 in one sitting.
May 5, 2016 at 11:16 am #313792You can attempt p2 if you passed f7 provided that in the same exam sitting your attempting the p2, you are also entering for all other outstanding F level papers.
And p1 and f8 is a very good combination, throw f4 into it and it becomes the holy grail !!!!May 5, 2016 at 12:06 pm #313804Here’s an extract from the ACCA exam progression page ….

The advice from Vdowson is misleading. You do NOT have to sit the P level papers in strict sequence whereas Vdowson’s post suggests that P1 – P3 must be the first P level papers that must be attempted
P level papers may be attempted in ANY sequence
