Please can somebody help me, i studied AAT and then went off to complete a university degree which has given me exemptions to paper F9, hence have 5 more papers to do. I now have a BA HONS in Accounting and Finance and im planning to carry on to ACCA. I have been told if i want to go through the Oxford Brookes degree path, i have to give up my exemption and start from paper F7, with 8 more papers, My family wants me to do that but i have not soo sure myself. I have still young and I have the time but i am really confused has anyone does this and do i really need to do this ?
Please Advice thanks.
I wouldn`t bother with the Oxford Brookes degree. You already have 1 accountancy degree, why take another. Employers will be far more interested in the professional qualification. Start at P1 and get it over and done with a soon as possible
The Oxford Degree is great, ONLY IF you had no prior Acc degree before. A BA Hons would be the equivalent of the Oxford degree, I think. Better carry on mate 😀
