how do i calculate primary distribution if the question does not have the total allocated cost?
April 10, 2017 at 3:57 pm #380803In future, if you wish for me to answer then you must ask in the Ask the Tutor Forum – this forum is for students to help each other.
I assume that you are asking about distributing the overheads of service departments to production departments (“primary distribution” is not a standard term!).
If so, then you will either be told the costs initially allocated to each department, or you will be given more information and be required to allocate and apportion the overheads between all the departments first.Everything needed with regard to allocation, apportionment, and absorption is covered in detail in my free lectures. The lectures are a complete free course for Paper F2 and cover everything needed to be able to pass the exam well.

April 11, 2017 at 5:03 pm #380874Without seeing the question I cannot help you more.
Paper F2 examinations do not have sections giving ‘extra information.
Why don’t you ask whichever tutors gave you the mid-term assessment?!!
Surely they have provided you with answers?April 19, 2017 at 4:08 pm #382662thank you sir, i will consult him
