sir i am thinking about P6 in June. As i am facing f6 this march ,i think the basics i have learnt in this paper will b vital in studying P6 ..thats why i dont want delay taking the paper P6 since i have short time memory problem 🙁 What will you suggest ?? I have paper f8 left in skill level.
I think that is probably a bit too quick as P6 is a very different style of paper requiring far more application of skills and the June exams are based on FA 2016. I think you need to see how you get on at F6 and give yourself more time to prepare for P6. One other issue – are you sure you want to do P6 as an option?
Thank u for your reply.
Sir I have a dream to do ICAEW .I will get exemptions there,if i take p6 here.Am i right ??
One thing at a time Ridwan – get your ACCA qualification first which is a worldwide recognised professional qualification – you would need to check the latest position with ICAEW as to the current position on the exemptions that apply below the Advanced Stage. You would also need to get a training contract with a firm of chartered accountants. Do let me know the outcome but I am about to go to airport to return back to UK
