hello sir john wanted to ask about otc as per my knowledge otc simply refers to private deals that cannot be traded over the stock exchange right? also wanted to ask can we assume that if currency futures are not an otc the interest rate futures are also not an otc ? how can we tell about others ? like currency swaps interest swaps?
and sir it would be very generous of you if you couild clear this regarding interest rates divided by 100 and then multiplied by for example 3/12 for 3 monthh period . where will we use this %/100 technique
It will be made clear in the question whether or not instruments are OTC.
As far as the 3/12 is concerned this is because interest rate futures are always 3 months futures. It applies to interest rate futures and interest rate options (because they are options on futures).
Have you watched my free lectures on all of this?
