Sir,
I intend to do Paper F7 exam in December. I started reading the textbook and find that it is really taking a long time. (I work full time with children at school etc etc.) I really want to put it aside. Do you think the OT Notes together with your lectures and a revision kit are enough for a pass? Let me know please so I can ditch that thick book.
Ditch it! Now!
Read (and hopefully understand) the course notes whilst following the lectures
Open a revision kit and start TODAY practicing the mcqs (accepting that you will probably score less than 20% on your first time through)
Follow the revision lectures (you’ll find them on the F7 home page, towards the bottom of that page)
Keep going at those mcqs – whenever you have even just 5 minutes to spare, keep at those mcqs
Hint … do NOT write your mcq attempts in the revision kit itself. Write them on a separate piece of paper. In that way, subsequent tries at the same question will not be influenced by your previous efforts
Whenever you hit a brick wall of non-understanding, post on this Ask ACCA Tutor forum and I shall get back to you – normally on the same day that you post your question
OK?
