Hi All,
I need some advise on my last ACCA
I have one ACCA exam pending;
I took p5 APM – in Dec 2014 and got 34, I did it again in June 2015 and got 45. I entered the exam for Sept 2015 but didn’t show up as I couldn’t get myself round to take the exam.
I entered the exam in June 2018 but due to personal reasons I did not show up to the exam.
I then decided that maybe I should do another paper so I studied for P4 (but not as extensively for June 2019) and I got a mark of 25 (self studied, I did miss out on a 15 mark question and felt unfocused) but I did think my result will be abit more than that.
Now I am distraught and losing the will to complete this last paper.On reflection, I was exempted the papers of F5 and F9 at fundamental papers and I did the rest.
Is this the reason why I am struggling at this point? I did Audit and assurance and got 66% at first time (but I had done f8).
I didn’t consider doing taxation I am not sure why though. I got 52% in F6 at first sitting.Any advise on this will be helpful. I don’t want to waste time anymore. I am willing to put the right amount of effort in this.
I haven’t come this far to come this far. And I know now I need to put more thought in the paper I am choosing hence this post and plan ahead.
Thank you.
Amina

Ok so your options are APM, ATX & AFM
Choose based on your career choice, on pass rate, on what you like to study.
It seems you haven’t considered ATX so it’s a choice of either AFM or APM?
Since you have an idea of both I guess you can choose. You seem to enter each exam I’ll prepared so whatever you choose, change your approachJuly 22, 2019 at 9:47 am #524554I would say you need to study harder and focus on exam questions and technique. read all examiner articles to see what they want
Since you have attempted APM and AFM maybe try one of those again
have you tried studying with a tuition provider. its quite hard to pass ATX and AFM without one
dont loose hope!
