Hi John
I realise this general question has been asked several times before however…..
I have 1 option paper left and have no idea which one to choose:
F5 exempt
F8 78%
F9 60%
I really did not enjoy audit, nor do I ever envisage myself working in audit, but is it a no brainer to choose it due to how well I did at the fundamental level?
I enjoyed F9 and had a very tough exam (Sept ’15, 35% pass rate which is lowest for F9).
I tend to prefer and perform better in the numbers papers eg tax.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I am completely lost at the moment.
Thanks
Michael
It is always difficult for me to advise on this.
If you enjoyed F9 and prefer numbers papers, then maybe P4 would be one to go for. It is a hard exam (but there again, all of the P level papers are hard).
Maybe a good idea would be to have a brief look at the most recent exams for each of the papers (on the ACCA website) – that might help you make up your mind.
