Hi
I’m struggling to find information to differentiate these equations and really struggle to recognise what to do when approaching a question.
Is there a simple mistake I’m making please?

Have you watched my free lectures on pricing – I go through the equations and explain the relevant of them with examples? (because it is hard for me to know what your problem is).
