Hello!
This might be a very silly question but under which category of cash flows ( investing / operating ) do the operating lease rentals recieved fall under for the lessor ?

If operating leases are the company’s “trade” – e.g. Avis – then operating activities.
IAS 7 has very little detailed guidance.
