    Hi,

I am currently studying ACCA F9 and downloaded F9 study Notes for this paper. I am currently studying Becker Professional Study text and revision package.

My question is, which study text are these notes derived from e.g BPP, Kaplan or Becker Professional?

I know the syllabus is same for F9 but if these Notes are from Kaplan for example then I should be getting Kaplan study text and watch free lectures with it.

Could someone please clarify the source of these notes so I could use the relevant study text for June 2017 exam.

    Thanks

The notes are Opentuitons own notes, which go hand-in-hand with their lectures. They are not derived from a study text as far as I am aware.

The point of them, I think, is to kind of replace any study text you may be using.

In reality, I’ve found the best methodology of revising (for me at least) is to watch the lectures and use the lecture notes to learn the basic, broader aspect of the syllabus and then to

    1. use a revision kit (I prefer BPP) to practice questions
    2. use a study text to refine that knowledge and pick up the more finer details
    3. read ACCA technical articles to really drive the points home
