Hi regarding the fm exam i have the Kaplan book with me but when i follow through open tuition notes. It seems many topics are left out. Kindly help me how should i study. Even the order are completely messed up.
Our lecture notes, when used together with the video lectures, cover everything needed to be able to pass the exam well. There are not ‘many topics left out’ at all !!
They are in the most logical order for studying – what order Kaplan uses is up to them!If you are watching our lectures then you do not need a Study Text. (Although you do need to watch the lectures and not just use the notes on their own. The notes are not a Study Text and it is in the lectures that I work through the examples and explain and expand on the notes.)
However you choose to study, the essential book is the Exam Kit because it is full of past exam questions and other exam standard questions for practice, after you have finished your studying. Practice at exam standard questions is vital to passing the exam.
Thanks for the reply and clarification. I was pretty scared without the guidance of anyone. Wish me luck for the June exam.
