Hi All,
Those of you who passed the PM exam, have you made use of the mock exam (covering section A & B only) from open tuition?
I am doing my best and make use all of the resources in this website as this would be my 3rd time doing such exam, during my revision and doing well but unfortunately does not mean that I may pass the exam since this happened to me twice
November 1, 2020 at 5:34 pm #593762I assume that you do have a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA Approved Publishers (if not then it is vital that you do buy one). They contain full mock exams to attempt. In addition there are specimen CBE questions on the ACCA website.
The more practice the better – not just the part mock exam on our website!
November 10, 2020 at 7:26 pm #594652Hi John, thanks for the reply yes currently I have the latest BBP Revision Kit and I have attempted the mocks and scored very well, but I don’t put high hopes on this as then I failed in actual exam so I am looking for all the resources
November 11, 2020 at 10:03 am #594691Did you attempt the mock exams in the Revision Kit under strict timing (i.e. in the 3 hours allowed).
Also do attempt the CBE specimens on the ACCA website – again under time pressure.
November 11, 2020 at 12:13 pm #594722Hi John yes I did and scored on 50s and 60s but as I said I don’t give high hopes, since doing well in your revision and then you obtain 37 in actual exam 🙁

Hi basically my question is about markup on sale 30%if selling price is £40 what is the profit and variable cost
November 14, 2020 at 10:30 am #594982Please start a new thread when you are asking about something completely different!!!
If the question really does refer to a mark-up on selling price then the profit is 30% x $40 = $12.
However this would be very unusual because mark-ups are normally calculated on cost. In that case the cost will be 100/130 x $40 = $30.77, and the profit will be 30/130 x $40 = $9.23.
