    Check the support page
    Lectures work fine

Problem is either with your PC – update it or try different browser

Or your internet provider blocks your access

    Hello
Is there any way to watch lectures in a 1.5x-2.0x speed mode like on coursera, for example?

If you are using the lectures properly and actually working through the examples with the tutor in the space provided in the course notes, then you will not want to watch them 1.5 or 2 x speed.
If you are not doing that then there is no point in watching the lectures and you should study from a study text if you want to pass the exam.

You are averaging students and it’s not very nice thing to do. First of all it’s not worth spending time listening to something you already know from previous exams at a normal speed. Besides, the tutor speaks so that foreign students could understand, English-speaking students can absorb the information at a higher speed.
Also it is beneficial to get information from different sources because every tutor or book have different emphases. S those students who have already read study texts from Kaplan or other source may be interested to browse through the video to get to the point when the tutor explains hard material in different words or when the tutor gives examples from their practice. And as for solving problems, you just pause the video to do the task
And for what it’s worth, coursera has speed-up buttons and many people use them

Fine – but I am not averaging students and there is nothing not nice about what I wrote at all.

We provide this free of charge so that people do not need to buy books. Whether you choose to make use of it is entirely your choice!

Coursera may well have speed-up buttons, but they are a profit making company that does not produce lectures themselves but gets them from others (and doesn’t have lectures specifically for ACCA). OpenTuition invests all of its earnings in expanding and improving what we offer and will continue to spend what money we have on doing that rather than adding speed-up buttons 🙂
