Can anyone recommend a good online course. I used to study with 7 city but they are no longer doing ACCA courses. BPP looks good and GTG.
ThanksAugust 24, 2010 at 12:01 pm #67080Hi,
have also used 7city they were brilliant, if anything too much detail, but that is not a fault really more a benefit.
Tried GTG but did not get on with it, the demo video was brill but the actual live lecturers were not the same person and I had trouble with the dialect. When watching a lecture that had taken place earlier the screen did not always match the lecturer speech or could be blank. They send emails almost daily of what you have to achieve and by when, I found it very pressurised.
LSBF was very good, but I did have problems with their customer services. After the exams I did realise that presumed knowledge was not covered, a bit late to find out really.
Just used Kaplan for my last paper, expensive but excellent would recommend them highly. I used the live online for both tuition and revision, definitely helped me pass what I thought was impossible.
Hope it helps

You are looking for “online” or ‘live online” …. ? I think with “online courses”, LSBF seems to have good offers. But I have not had a course with them. BPP courses came out recently. I have had tuition from INSAF Global. They are one-to-one and live. They charged me £15 per hour with flexible time & dates and allowing us to concentrate on the areas I want. And the tutors I found excellent. Mainly I selected it since I thought it would be nice to have one-to-one lessons at my time of convenient. Kaplan also had started a great “live online” course, but the issue for me personally was, they are not one-to-one and costs more than £1000 !!!!! Aawww …. Hope this helps ………
