    Hi Mike

i was considering buying second hand study text/exam kits and would like to ask you if last year’s or even older texts would be valid for the March exams.

    Thank you.

I’m not convinced that you need a study text

You should work through the examples in the course notes, particularly you should work through the mini exercises towards the end of the course notes, you should work and re-work all the mcqs and mtqs in a revision kit (over and over again) and you should post on this forum when you hit a problem that you can’t resolve

Why would you want a study text?

It would be handy to have an up-to-date exam kit but an old one will be OK so long as you download the more recent exams from the ACCA website …

… and make sure that you’re up to speed with IFRS 15 and IFRS 16 (and ignore any stuff based on IASs 11, 17 and 18)

    OK?
