Could you please clarify that "Occupational pension is deducted from total income, whereas in case of Personal pension, the contribution is not deducted from total income instead the benefit is given by expanding basic and other limits by the gross amount of personal pension contribution." Weather this statement is true or not?

Essentially correct but the occupational scheme contribution is specifically deducted from the employment income figure within the total icome
