Please advise if the pictures such as logo’s or PESTEL diagrams downloaded from internet are included as part of the words count? For example a diagram of PESTEL shows individual words inside its as Political, Environmental does each word in the picture need to be added to word count?
Secondly my graphs have numbers on the X and Y axis are those also counted as part of word count?
Lastly is table of content also part of word count?

Words in diagrams will normally not be counted if they have been copied and pasted from an external source.However if diagrams and tables have been produced by the student and used as part of the evaluation and have lots of text and have been pasted into the report as an image, the marker may deem this is a deliberate ploy to circumvent the word count and could estimate the number of words used and add them back to the total
The contents are also counted as part of the word count
Hi Gilian my PESTEL diagram has 50 words is it still okay to include in my OBU Research report i have not counted it as part of word count if i do its going to exceed 7500 words Please advice
If you are worried trim out words – I bet you could easily take out at least 50 words in either Part 1 and /or Part 2
I have already trim as much as i could since i was 400 words more than the required 7500 words
Should i just go ahead and delete the picture i downloaded from shutterstock.com for PESTEL?
But it does have good examples for PESTEL in the picture.so i am not sure.
No leave it if is from an external source – it is when you have made the chart but posted it as an image that is an issue and only if you have tended to do this to avoid the word count – the odd one should be fine
