Hi,
Is the obu submission open yet?
There was no option for me to upload the files instead it stated that “You have no assignments in the system”.
just received an email from them saying there is a problem with the online system
Oh dear not again – we have been here before!!! The system has never worked properly since November 2018 but before then it was generally OK. [However during P37 they had to revert to submission by attaching files to emails and have had to do that ever since – but this time they were supposed to be doing online submissions once more……]
They had issued the following advice last week to mentors but clearly this is not the current problem
• When students submit, the system converts the files resulting in changes in file name and sizes and some file types. The upload to Turnitin can also take some time (depending on how busy the Turnitin system is generally). If students are concerned please reassure them.
To be fair, the above note gives an indication that it is a complex process – so let’s hope it is just ‘teething problems’ – but time will tell….
