September 24, 2013 at 4:46 pm #141181Can anyone still see the results tab? I just have supporting documents and my profile tab.
September 24, 2013 at 5:23 pm #141186@kitcat thanks so much for the clarification- I am so happy to say that I too have passed. Like you I cannot download the results letter or award confirmation. I just have to wait till mid-night UK time. Good luck to all.
September 24, 2013 at 5:33 pm #141187The fact that no one is reporting a fail makes me even more anxious that this is not real.
I desperately hope it is 🙂

My first and only attempt (10 year rule)
Failed evaluation, analysis and conclusion partrequired more analysis of ratio results, I should have researched the reasons for the changes and not use phrases like “this suggests” and “or possible reason for”
Failed SLS Part communication skills
needed to show more actual results on the slidesGutted as marker said that it would not take much work to bring project up to pass standard(little did they know it was my only attempt at this.
Onwards now and try my best to pass P2 and P3 this June
Congrats to all that passed and heads up to all that failed this time
September 24, 2013 at 6:41 pm #141203@rooster197812 that is such a shame if the result is valid (still a day off official date).
Will they not budge at all ? I know there is a 10year limit but you did submit before the deadline and there’s only some modest changes by the sounds of it. I’m not trying to make you feel worse, but it sounds incredibly harsh if they wont let you make the corrections.
And you’ve definitely hit the 10yr limit ? I think lots of people were given extra time when syllabus changed a few years back, but I could be wrong.
If you haven’t passed – there are lots of other options. I’m looking at University of London International Programmes. The degrees in some cases are 3years part time at home study – very reasonably priced and the academic direction set is from some great universities (like London School of Economics for the Economics Bsc).
Anyway – good luck on your P2 + P3 papers – you are very near the ACCA finish line

Many thanks for the kind words , I am definately going to email OBU just incase however im not holding out much hope.
my own fault for quitting my studies for eight yearsSeptember 24, 2013 at 6:48 pm #141205@rooster197812 – especially if there were any extenuating circumstances in that 8years that would have delayed you restarting the studies. I’d be the same – no harm in trying – but prepare for the worst answer.

according to the result dashboard I have passed. But not too sure what is happening. Guess I will wait for the confirmation email before I start celebrating.

Reference
I think i have given all the references i used in my project. Can i resubmit now?
Do i have to include one more recent year financial statements as well?September 24, 2013 at 7:17 pm #141211I am a bit puzzled like a lot of us as to how the result is out minus the grades and letter. I’m still going to wait till the official results come in because this is NOT an official result. Lets just hope we all get through when the formal result is announced tomorrow. All the best!
September 24, 2013 at 7:21 pm #141212I think this result is actual because i cab also see the markers comments on each section.
September 24, 2013 at 7:24 pm #141213All I can see is links to two letters neither of which is working. It does say something about the letter not being sent yet.
September 24, 2013 at 7:27 pm #141214if you look back at previous results forum topics this does seem to be a theme. Looks like results come out a day early (this is only the second time results have been available on line to view). They seem to load the results – if you’ve failed you can immediately access the markers sheet and get the feedback – that’s what happened to me in March. If you’ve passed then you see congrats you’ve passed and links to those letters but they don’t load until the official results day.
But as I said earlier – I am desperately trying not to get my hopes up and convince myself that I need to wait until tomorrow but given this time 6months ago I saw fail, and now I see pass, I can’t help but feel a little more optimistic……..
September 24, 2013 at 7:31 pm #141215I know kitcat bcos all of us are really anxious about the result. I’m surprised there’s nothing on the OBU official FB page about the results. I know we’re not full-time students but we’re still students who’ve sat gruelling ACCA exams and put in a lot of effort into this project, yet apparently the results aren’t a big deal for the university.
September 24, 2013 at 7:44 pm #141216I tried the little trick and it says congrats and that I have achieved a pass grade. I hope its true! I became an affiliate this June and if I pass this one then it will be a great year for me academically!! xD Good luck everyone!

Not in submission period??:O
September 25, 2013 at 12:01 am #141239Hi,
So on my results page it says pass, but nothing else comes up. Does this mean i have passed or there is an error? Why wont the download links work?
September 25, 2013 at 12:11 am #141240@cocopops – because the results aren’t officially due until Sep 25th UK so I guess in at least 8 hours.
Most here assuming what they see on the screen when you change dashboard to results is the actual outcome – ie. in your case you have passed. I guess will know for 100% sure tomorrow. Really hope that is correct! As mine says pass!
It is a bit weird how OBU seem to drip feed part of the results.
@omerpk – I thought that about OBU. For example – I wanted to get some data from the bank of england for my project which wasn’t in the public domain. They will provide for academic study but you need a university email address. OBU offers that to full time students as soon as they enrol but only to ACCA students once the course is passed. Does kinda feel like were second rate citizens ! but honestly – if my pass really is a pass I don’t care! hahahahSeptember 25, 2013 at 12:13 am #141241Thanks Kitcat : )
