Passed the RAP on Topic 8 with Irwin from The Learning Luminarium as my mentor.
Many thanks to Irwin for helping me throughout the process and guiding me towards success.
Also, many thanks to Open Tuition for recommending quality mentors like The Learning Luminarium.

September 21, 2017 at 8:04 am #408161fail badly on topic 8 and mentor said it was good !!
September 21, 2017 at 12:37 pm #408190Passed first time. Thank you @trephena! Your advice was invaluable. Just 4 professional exams to finish starting December, then the Masters UOL!
September 22, 2017 at 10:50 am #408334I have passed with an A in the research project. A bit unfortunate that it was still a Lower Second Class due to my average mark in the ACCA exams but happy and grateful nonetheless that our efforts paid off.
A big shout out to @trephena for her help and guidance. Her advice made a lot of difference in enhancing the quality and refining my RAP. Thanks @trephena! Best wishes for you.
All those who plan to submit the RAP, do follow this forum and your queries are likely to be answered in a timely and appropriate manner.
Best of luck!

October 10, 2017 at 1:02 pm #410182Was anyone’s results deferred?
October 13, 2017 at 7:43 pm #410863@Satvika – in the past periods quite a few students have had their results deferred pending an ACO investigation.
We have a special thread (currently on page 2 of our topic last or you may be able to access it via this link
https://opentuition.com/topic/results-withheld-deferred/October 19, 2017 at 5:35 pm #412506Anyone received the certificate by post ? I have not yet.
Should I contact OBU about that ? Does anyone know how long the delivery normally takes ?

You should have deadline or estimate time of delivery in confirmation letter. Just check that, and if time has passed from deadline contact ACCA/OBU.
October 20, 2017 at 12:16 pm #412600Sometimes, postal services are not good in the region you live and it might take months to receive your certificate. If you want the certificate sooner, you can easily ask OBU to send them through DHL courier service, it might cost you couple of bucks though.

EhsanOctober 26, 2017 at 7:49 am #413249Thanks @Ehsan. The deadline mentioned in my letter was Jan 2018. So I’d better wait then.
January 23, 2018 at 8:05 am #432361Hello guys is there anyone who did not receive his/her results for period 34. Mine were deferred and upto now l have not received them
January 23, 2018 at 10:38 pm #432536Were you never contacted by the Academic Conduct Office?
January 24, 2018 at 9:39 am #432591Was asked to provide supporting evidence for my RAP on 11/16/17 and l submitted……asked the ACO to confirm they received it and they confirmed…..but from that time to today they have not communicated with me.
January 24, 2018 at 4:25 pm #432676Then you should follow this up as most ACO cases should have been sorted out by now I believe – so looks like you have somehow slipped through the net.
Either email the ACO officer if you have a name and email address (which presumably you have) or the contact OBU via the usual acca@brookes.ac.uk email address. If you don’t hear back within 5 business days email the latter address again
January 25, 2018 at 6:12 am #432811Thanks will do just that
