Hi,
when i write down answers for the audit evidence, may i know whether the first one will surely get awared to 1 mark (just judging from the sentence in the below) ? i notice that we are required to write assertions and most of the answers in the past year exam questions for AAA do not write asseritions specifically .
But i was told by someone that if we write the asserition specifically in every each audit evidence, we have will have higher chance of getting the mark(assuming of course that assertion is relevant and appropriae to the sentence)
1. Obtain copy of board minutes to confirm approval of investing in Stewart Co for 25’% in order to verify the occurrence of the event
2. Obtain copy of board minutes to confirm approval of investing in Stewart Co for 25’%
Perhaps if you don’t see this in AAA answers the examiner doesn’t actually want this? (It sound to me like an AA approach – not an AAA approach.)
Have you read the exam technique articles parts 1-5? (see “sticky post” at the top of this forum)
I recommend that you sigh up for the FREE webinar (also flagged with a sticky post) for some great insights into AAA marking.
