    Dear Sir,

While revising the chapter “Financial analysis” In Kaplan I have come across several Numerical sections which we already have covered in previous studies, such as
Different Costing methods, break Even Analysis, Marginal Analysis ( Make or buy etc.) and even Budgeting and variance Analysis.

My question is are we required to do calculation in the exams? Or just apply the given information to the scenario?

Basically is it fine to skip revising the costing technique/formulas etc?

    Thanks and regards,
    Saajid

You will almost certainly be required to do calculations in the exam. For example see:

    Q4 here: https://www.accaglobal.com/content/dam/acca/global/PDF-students/acca/p3/exampapers/p3-2014-dec-Q.pdf
