Hi
As I am new in ACCA.
Can anyone tell me if I can attempt only one paper in Dec-18?
No, Actually you can attend upto 4 papers per CBE session. As you say you are new to ACCA, You may have the first 4 papers as ON-Demand CBE So you are not limited to give in december. So, check if your country has a centre that has on Demand exams
Thanks azamali.
I want to attempt only 1 paper in Dec-18.
Is that possible?
Yes, you may sit only one paper per session. I usually sit only one exam per session – that’s still 4 exams per year – 1 every 3 months – and for me it’s a good rate to take them at
Welcome on board on this ACCA Journey!
Yes you can sit 1 paper per sitting..
I will surely recommend doing 1 paper per sitting because that helps to secure a good first time pass.
You are able to focus better more and give ample to prepare and practice well.
Over – Commitment of papers per sitting by students is one of the common mistakes. Try avoiding that!
With 4 papers per sitting in 1 year would mean you will be done with 12 out 13 papers in 3 years. Which is good enough!
I did the first 3 papers – F1, F2 and F3 in one sitting… Thank God passed (phew!) but that was the last of it. It was too pressurising and so after that started doing 1 paper per sitting.
Hope this helps.
Thank you all.
